Like I said on Page 1 of this thread, I think the BFG 10 speed rig is the way to go for most users that don't need to carry radios, breaching charges, NODs, NFDD/smoke, etc.... If you want to be able to carry the .308 mags and the .223 mags look at the SR25 version of the BFG rig.

 

Also, as flimsy as those BFG Minimus rigs look they are surprisingly sturdy when pouches are attached.

 

I do like the HSGI tacos and I have a belt setup with them. They work for their intended purpose, but man are they a pain to put on and take off MOLLE.

 

In the end your "mission" drives the gear. The gear you are required/desire to carry will determine what is best.

Thanks HE, I will look at the sr25. From the research out there, it looks like it will keep a 556 mag in place, might be the best, lowest price, way to go.

Tag appears to have a bunch o stuff on clearance. Anything know anything about the gladiator chest rigs? Google resulted mostly positive results but a few were iffy. For the price I can live with the camo
