david8613 69 Posted June 27, 2013 I heard that ruger stopped making "blued" red hawks, now they only come in stainless, would that make it more valuable in the years to come?
yukongt2000 3 Posted June 27, 2013 How about the quirky guns that will probably not become mainstream... like the Kris Vector or Chiappa Rhino?
robot_hell 72 Posted June 27, 2013 Most guns, especially the quirky ones, sufficiently limited in production are likely to become valuable after a sufficient amount of time has passed.
Clintoon Eastwood 2 Posted June 27, 2013 HK P7 I second this, such a crazy odd solid pistol. I feel lucky to even fire one. I never even heard of it until I saw it myself.

halbautomatisch 60 Posted June 28, 2013 what guns in your opinion will become valuable classic in the future? I have one more permit and thinking about what to get with it... Given enough time, just about anything............ But, some of the above suggestions are the most likely to go up in value since they are already in high demand. Old Dog 19 Posted June 28, 2013 Sad to say that unless things change, every gun will. Our great grandchildren may have to go to a museum to see what guns their great grand dad used.

Parker 213 Posted June 29, 2013 Sweet. Or find a Redhawk in .357 Mag. That's not often seen these days.
raz-0 1,259 Posted July 1, 2013 Something new that will likely become rare. Boberg XR9. Lots of novelty value, well made. Not necessarily the best idea. Also in general, anything that has gone up in price due to scarcity, but that people still use. As mentioned, the S&W 610 is a potential there. It commands a premium, but plenty of buyers are shooting them rather than hiding them away. H&K p7m10 in .40 might be on the opposite end of that line. The rarer p7 guns are starting to be socked away as collector items. Not sure how much upside they'll have.
WVisHome 0 Posted July 1, 2013 Interesting....I didn't know they existed. Sweet. Or find a Redhawk in .357 Mag. That's not often seen these days. I know someone who has a SS .357 Blackhawk and a SS .41 Redhawk....

Bob2222 316 Posted July 2, 2013 http://www.coltsmfg.com/Catalog/SpecialEditions/1877BulldogGatlingGun.aspx ....or you can just wait 135 years until Colt does another run! (I'm not sure anything mass produced will become valuable in the sense of fine-art valuable. If I had a spare permit right now, I'd be looking for an example of Colt's WW1 reproduction 1911. I'd shoot it, tho, not keep it in the safe.)
