I'm very happy to hear that and his family is there to welcome him. I remember a few yrs ago being there welcoming my son back and was dis-heartened to see a fair amount of Marines with no one to greet them except this one guy giving out cigars! Yes, it was quite a warm welcome home. My dad took video of the buses coming in. They were led in by precession of people on motorcycles and 4x4 trucks beeping horns. There looked to be 7 full charter buses, and the crowd was huge. Watching the love and excitement of the families and the Marines reuniting was emotional from here. Oorah welcome home!

Not soldiers- Marines! After being corrected for too long I feel obliged to pass it on lol. Our biker escort was a chapter of Rolling Thunder and was cool in itself to see them leading the convoy of busses in. By the way I'm down here now vacationing and welcoming my son back to being a civilian, got out last Fri- yahoo!
