7.62x39 prices pre Newton?

Just curious what a good normal price was. The floor seems to be .25/round $5/20 now.

Thanks. AK ammo has adjusted closer to normal than AR ammo but AK's themselves have not adjusted as much as AR's. Whatever that means.

What I was getting at is that AR's are produced here so during the panic, every single mfg and their sister were cranking out AR's and parts.  Now that it has subsided a bit, prices had to come down to be able to move inventory.  

 

AR's on the other hand never increased production to meet US demand so the availability is still limited as there's a reliance on them being imported.  Also with the last 2 exec orders signed by Obama, there's a fear that there might be restrictions imposed on importing sporting arms.
