My educated guess would be that the same people at NJSP NICS Unit will get the info and do the check, which may take longer then normal.

I bought a lower the other day check came back in 15 seconds over the phone.  I don't mind the phone system.

As with any new technology there are bound to be bugs & glitches.

I am sure the intent was to speed up the system, and not to slow it down.

 

Be patient, and let's see how thing progress before throwing the whole

system under the bus.

Still bs.....most shops aren't going to stand next to the comp hitting refresh on their email page....thereby essentially making it a 2 trip process ......

 

As with any new technology there are bound to be bugs & glitches.

I am sure the intent was to speed up the system, and not to slow it down.

And for my customers - I will handle the NICS in advance so there is no

wait when you come to p/u your weapon.

I haven't had one done yet... But my understanding is the ffl logs onto some site...enters info clicks send and waits for the proceed/delayed/denied response to be emailed to them... Is my understanding incorrect?

Picked up my 809 and two lowers yesterday. I waited about 15 or 20 minutes tops after online submission about 6pm. Seemed to be efficient
