Nics is going online

90 mins later in the day online.

Still bs.....most shops aren't going to stand next to the comp hitting refresh on their email page....thereby essentially making it a 2 trip process ......

 

As with any new technology there are bound to be bugs & glitches.

I am sure the intent was to speed up the system, and not to slow it down.

 

Be patient, and let's see how thing progress before throwing the whole

system under the bus.

 

And for my customers - I will handle the NICS in advance so there is no

wait when you come to p/u your weapon.

 

Along with a little sarcasm, it's just another service we offer.............

I haven't had one done yet... But my understanding is the ffl logs onto some site...enters info clicks send and waits for the proceed/delayed/denied response to be emailed to them... Is my understanding incorrect?

Hmm, really? You are an optimist. I'm prety sure the only goal was to replace the 900 number for the least cost possible.
