Minimalist 0 Posted September 13, 2013 Thanks. I've heard about some places who won't ship to NJ. I thought Cabelas was one of them.

sof 0 Posted September 13, 2013 Some places require a copy of your FID before they will send you ammo. If I remember correctly Midway is one of them. PSA is another

areacode201 4 Posted September 13, 2013 I need to follow this thread I want to buy a large order of 9mm when I can find a good price.
AlexTheSane 236 Posted September 13, 2013 Cabela's has the fiocchi 9mm right now for 15 a box.
RecessedFilter 222 Posted September 13, 2013 Some days ago Cabela's had the best price I've seen for 9mm in a while since Newtown shooting. PMC and Rem UMC were $12.99. A few good ammo retailers aren't on those big search engines so you gotta look around.

illy 1 Posted September 13, 2013 .45 acp Cabelas usually has .45 fmj for $22. Also, if you're in central jersey, Lou's recently had some Winchester Ranger HPs for $35.

Duppie 73 Posted September 13, 2013 I've had very good experience with luckygunner Their prices and shipping costs is consistently higher that their counterparts and I've always wondered how they stayed in business....
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted September 13, 2013 You'd be surprised how much it costs to ship ammo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD
Duppie 73 Posted September 13, 2013 You'd be surprised how much it costs to ship ammo. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD I'm sure but some do it at very reasonable prices and some add in that dreaded handling charge on top of higher per round price so obviously I'll opt for the lesser. Shawnmoore81 623 Posted September 13, 2013 Shipping a case of ammo is $35+ easy if your shipping out of state. USPS won't ship it so you have to go UPS or FedEx. It's ridiculous. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD Yes but the costs drop dramatically as the volume increases so while you or I will be charged that $35.00 if we ship occasionally, a business who ships large orders on a consistent basis will only pay a fraction of that. Some pass that savings to their customers, absorb it into the cost of the product being shipped or nail the average buyer with the full boat. Zack 17 Posted September 13, 2013 Freedom Munitions has some now, this would be re-manufactured but they often have new as well. I've gotten a bunch of 9mm from them, never a problem with it. Since I only use 9mm I don't know if this is a good price or not, but for what it's worth: 45 Auto 230 gr. RN Box of 500 UPC: 819304310940 $190.
