Shotgun Shootout! October 12th at Clinton, NJ WMA

Recommended Posts

The shootout is on for tomorrow! I apologize I haven't been online much, we've been busy working on a job in south jersey all week. It is a low percentage for rain so we should be in the clear, but I'd suggest bringing a rain jacket in case it drizzles a little. A little rain shouldn't bother most of us!

See everyone in the morning!

Feel free to pm me but it's really the easiest thing to find. If your coming off 78 westbound it's the service road exit which is 13. Same exit as the Clinton station diner. Get off the exit and go literally straight down that road that runs parallel to 78 and you will see the rifle range sign about a mile on your right. Go past is and go up the next "road" which says wma office and it's up there you can't miss it

LOL I tried to teach my wife to snowboard once........and only once because that day I learned that one should never tell their wife who had just faceplanted in the snow to "suck it up". The fallowing week was not a good week. If there ever is a next time I will pay for her lessons.

Was a great time.  Embarased that my 870 desided to completely fall apart, but I appreciate that people jumped in to help.  Can't wait to do it again, though next time, I think I will get a different brand of shells...

Might be that it wasn't lubricated enough - felt that way in the 15 seconds I held it (slide and slide release).

Not that I know the first thing about how lubricated an 870 is supposed to feel, but it might contribute to a shell getting stuck like it did.

And yeah, it was fun, looking forward to next time!

Yeah, broke it down when I got home and cleaned/re-oiled the whole shebang.  Much easier to do on a big table haha!

Awesome day everyone! The weather was PERFECT...couldn't believe how nice of a day it was. As usual, met some new faces and continued seeing the usuals~! Glad everyone had a good time and it was nice seeing Millsan's wife dust a couple clays on her first clay outing.

Nice pics, Supertel...super crisp from that nice lens you got!

    • I have a like new (only zeroed) PSA Sabre KAC M110 Clone in 7.62x51mm. This is PSA's clone version of the infamous Knights Armament M110. Very high quality, excellent 2 stage trigger, 20" chrome lined barrel, adjustable gas block, and is NJ legal with a pinned Surefire SOCOM muzzle brake.  Radian Raptor charging handle and Radian ambi safety. Upper and lower are billet receivers compatible with all KAC SR-25 and LMT MWS/MARS-H pattern receivers.  Im no where close to being a long range shooter but ive been able to get 0.7 MOA out of it with 175gr federal gold medal match ammo and Im sure the rifle is capable of much better accuracy. Asking $1650 (which is a steal for what you get) at any FFL thats a reasonable distance from Jersey City. I can also ship but that would be on your dime.  Optic/bipod etc not included but can be purchased if interested. Vortex Razor Gen-II HD 3-18x50 FFP with the new EBR-7C MRAD illuminated reticle in a 1.54 reptilia mount. Id include the optic for another $1700. Happy to answer any questions or provide more pictures. Not interested in any trades. Thank you.
