Purple Patrick 638 Posted October 17, 2013 It's hard to type this with all the women throwing their panties at me but I've found sometime between orgies. Just picked this up from heritage guild Easton for $470 out the door. It's a benelli supernova tactical with comforttech stock and rifle sights. I picked this up to fill the void in my shotgun stable and plan on getting a field barrel to make this my first hunting gun. Plans of things soon to come are a Nordic plus 2, Nordic clamp with rail, and I plan on making some homemade shotgun cards for quick reloads. Possibly might have the barrel sent out to vang comp for their porting service and to have to barrel threaded. Here's the porn
RobertJames 14 Posted October 17, 2013 Not bad, but it needs a proper walnut stock. That would be porntastic.

jrfly3006 42 Posted October 17, 2013 Nice pickup..I have the same gun with the pistol grip and love it..accessories are available but it takes a little searching...Mesa Tactical,Briley, Side Armor, Elzetta, Nordic Comp, Savey Sniper, Urban ERT.. All come to mind and should fill most if your needs for mag extensions, light mounts, side saddles, rails and slings..Still planning my upgrades but have been shooting the nuts off this gun and love every shot.. Yeah I've seen those companies products and will be saving up for them after I get my field barrel. Another member is letting me try out his factory pistol grip to see if I like it. Later tonight I'm going to cut up a bandolier and try making some shotgun cards

MedicYeti 96 Posted October 17, 2013 Good Buy. I got a Nova before the Comfortech stocks were an option, I should have waited a little longer. I love my Nova even without the Comfortech stock. I shoot Sporting Clays with a few friends who also love my Nova (jerks) and don't even bother to bring their own shotguns any more.

High Exposure 5,635 Posted October 18, 2013 The Vang Comp barrels are very nice and I have one on my 870. That being said it is my understanding that they are difficult to do on a Benelli barrel, it may require an aftermarket barrel specifically designed to accommodate the modification (something about the barrels being too thin in certain spots), and that the mod may void any warrantee on the gun. You can get the same results now using any of the loads with Flight Control wads such as Hornady TAP and Federal Flight Control. Also, before adding a side saddle check the clearance on your forearm. You will likely need to chop it on one side or buy something aftermarket to replace it.

The Mesa side sadles require no mods to the gun but I was going to go with a shotgun card system. Midway just put all the Mesa side saddles on sale for 40% off so I may go with that because it will allow me to put my red dot on the gun and I'll just put the Velcro on the buttstock but I have to play with it. I also reload and am trying to work up a load similar to the flight control of I can get the recipe

Mesa Tactical makes a Supernova specific side saddle which attaches via two factory tapped holes on top of receiver and has no clearance issues..as for the barrels..Benelli OEM are mucho $$&..I think Carlson makes aftermarket ones for both field and HD

Purple Patrick 638 Posted October 19, 2013 Swapped stocks out to the pistol grip and put about 200 rounds today busting clays and a few pumpkins with slugs. The action is soooo nice even from the factory and it did alright with the 18.5in barrel. Rifle sights were fine for clays but I still want a set of ghost rings. Anyone wanna trade? Malice4you 627 Posted October 22, 2013 ITEM #60015Super Black Eagle II, M2 & SuperNova Pistol Grip$115 http://www.benelliusa.com/shop/stocks-forends/super-black-eagle-ii-m2-supernova-stock Assuming they have it in stock. It is also available on ebay, I've seen a few there since I'll need one when I get my 24" Supernova. Your Supernova is looking great - just like mine now...except you need a +2 on there...My friend has the Supernova with ghost rings, and I just can't get into them over my open rifles. Also, the rear sights of the open rifle sights are in a different spot than those of the ghost rings...I've never taken my rear open sight off, so I dunno what's under there...so check that out... lunker 274 Posted October 28, 2013 You may want to do a search on Benelli Supernova 922R compliance. It is a federal regulation specifying the minimum number of US Made parts on a foreign gun that was imported in sporterized configuration. The AK guys all have to follow there rules when converting Saigas and thumbhole stock AKs. I would just be guessing, but increasing the capacity of your Italian made gun to more than 4 in the tube might trigger this requirement.
