pjd832 146 Posted January 5, 2014 I agree with H.E. seems like backwards/dum dum engineering to me also...shoulda built based on 9mm then easy/safer to downsize to .380......that is unless they did...and have a double super top secret program and the 9mm is already waiting but they wanted to release the .380 first....reason being as shown here everyone(that would buy a glock) would buy the 9 and skip the .

Polak 3 Posted January 5, 2014 Looks like the G41 (Long slide .45ACP) and G42 (single stack .380) are confirmed. http://www.gunsandammo.com/2014/01/04/revealed-glock-41-42-pistols/ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i8C5Y4r5FDk#t=

Polak 3 Posted January 9, 2014 GTdist.com is taking preorders. $319 is a very tempting price.
Tallday 10 Posted January 9, 2014 I hope a million people buy this thing. Mabye the price of 380 ammo may go down if they needed to ramp up production. For me the size is to big for the 380 the the pistol has no purpose. I would love to see a 9 or 40 in that size. It would crush the slim 9/40 market. Our price will be $415. We will need a $50 deposit to put you on the list. Polak 3 Posted January 22, 2014 I went to Caso's to check it out today. This thing is tiny. I think it would shoot well though. I think I'll be getting one in the near future. Commercial price was $409.99 I believe LE was $359.99 They didn't have the G41 yet...too bad.

MikeA 6 Posted January 30 Hi Everyone, I'm 78 years old and have problems with both my hands I just got my G42 and had a bit of trouble loading my mags with the little speed loader supplied. So I tried using my magpul that I use for my G43x and it seemed to work much better. But my question is will I damage my mags using the bigger speed loader or should I get a speed loader just for theG42 380. Especially because I added 2 round add on's to both mags which cost me a few bucks. Thank you in advance, Mike
diamondd817 823 Posted January 31 Get a Uplula speed loader. It works great for the 42 mags, and it won't damage anything. https://www.maglula.com/product/uplula/ Edit: Unless that is what you meant you already have? If so, you're good to go. I use it with my 42 mags all the time.
