FID wait in Brick?

I have a friend that is planning to apply for an initial FIP and P2Ps and wants to know what to expect. If anyone has had any recent applications please let me know how it wentt  and how long it took. Thanks!

My friend just got hers done. Approximately 45 days. Not terrible

5 months for handgun permits in Brick. Applied 1June, received early November. They issue a lot but that's not an excuse for this amount of time. I made sure my references returned their letters immediately.

i just got my p2ps 3 weeks ago, they told me it was going to be 4.5 months but i got them in less than 30 days

Yep, running about 4 months at this point. They are pretty up front about it when you drop your paperwork off.

Were you just getting P2Ps or FID also?

Mine was a change of address on my FID and also a permit. My wife was an original issue FID as well as a permit.  We dropped them off the same day and the woman told us right up front it was running about four months.  Actually took about 4.5 months.  We applied in June.

 

One thing I will say is that the woman we dealt with was very pleasant and helpful and actually kept us updated along the way. Nice unexpected surprise.

Just an update for Brick.. I went in today for new hand gun permits. The guy in front of me was FID and permits.  Both of us were told 4 to 5 month wait.
