intercooler 41 Posted December 11, 2013 Is a receiver that is marked M14F gonna be legal? It isn't named, (m14s is) so it would not be banned there, it's s stripped receiver so it isn't substantially identical unless it is built that way(it won't) I checked with anjrpc attorneys and they said it is gtg because its not named or substantially identical. Anyone have experience? This is a m1a type rifle, which has a special exemption as long as it isn't built substantially identical (this is on the njsp website)

JT Custom Guns 956 Posted December 11, 2013 Do not confuse Looking identical to being identical The M1A was designed & built so that it cannot be converted to a full auto like it's father the M1. The M14F is legal in NJ as long as you don't go full retard and add two evil features to a Semi Auto rifle that accepts detachable mags Good Luck! JT Custom Guns 956 Posted December 11, 2013 So are they saying it is convertible to Full Auto?
JT Custom Guns 956 Posted December 11, 2013 Duh! I read it on my phone and I thought it said M1 (not M1A) So - Since they clarified that it can't be converted, you're all GTG right Nick?
