While surfing the net last night I found this.  I wish I knew about it a month ago when they were on sale for black Friday.  So far they have been getting good reviews from the guys that have built them up.

The "M14S" is banned in NJ by name, regardless if you remove the bayonet lug.  Any FFL holders think since the receiver is marked "M14F" it would not be on the banned list?

It looks like they do a great job. I saw some of there work at the recent gun show. The rifles looked legit.

I want one but getting the parts,at least GI to assembly a complete rifle is a huge expense. I hope they see the demand for M14 type builds and make more parts

Not to be ignorant, can someone fill me in on the benefit to a "boutique" M14 and a Springfield M1A. I realize forged receivers and such are vastly superior to investment cast, but I really don't see a point to buying one. Unless the M1A feels like a piece of crap.
