Whiskey Reb 0 Posted December 29, 2013 (edited) Ok, I admit it - home on Saturday Night and watching You Tube.... Queen must rank near (if not at) the top. brucin 923 Posted December 29, 2013 Ok, I admit it - home on Saturday Night and watching You Tube.... Queen must rank near (if not at) the top. I got to see them while Freddy was still healthy. Some friends had tickets and I went down with them to scalp at the Byrne arena as it was called at the time. I went to the box office for the heck of it and got a single ticket in the second row. I think it was around 80 or 81. It's one of my favorite concert memories. There is nothing like being 30 feet from a Rock & Roll legend.
bignic83 0 Posted December 29, 2013 Saw them in I believe 1976 on Thanksgiving night at the Spectrum in Philly.(Yeah I am old). Amazing show, among my top five concerts for sure. Freddy was amazing! (as was the rest of the band).
Whiskey Reb 0 Posted December 29, 2013 Never saw them in Concert, but grew up listening to Freddy and the band. If I had to pick another Band Bon Jovi would be right up there. As much as I am down on social media these days I must say it's great to be able to watch incredible performances on You Tube by many different bands throughout the years, not to mention the "how to" videos, which have helped me in this hobby/recreation we are all so into. Porthole 15 Posted December 30, 2013 DirecTV, newer channel, AXS-TV. Lots of great concerts, old and new and pretty good quality. Original bands and the Tribute bands too. Brit Floyd - Live at Red Rocks was great.
