The going price for the mags is $13-$20 per mag. Keep 6 mags for you and sell 14 on GB for $200 and you have an ak (great for a back up rifle) with 6 mags for $250!!!

2 questions for those AK guys who know..are these GTG as far as muzzle device pinned and bay lug cut and are there any options to convert to reg pistol grip?

Not sure about the M70, but I believe there is no bayo lug, muzzle device might need to be pinned, and you should be able to pick up a nice wood furniture set for it and put the pistol grip on.

This.  Generally they are cheaper bc free America doesn't want single stack mags.  For us, CA, NY, etc they are convenient.  Like others have said this was a great deal bc of the amount of mags it comes with.  Sell half the mags, and you have a $350 out the door ak variant.  

 

Personally I bought it bc I have been looking to replace my WASR that I sold last year.  I paid $300 for that back in 08' but had to sell it when someone offered me $1k for it last Jan.  Funny thing is that this is probably better quality than the WASR.
