Olin Corporation, through its Winchester Division, is recalling two (2) lots of M*22™ 22 Long Rifle 40 Grain Black Copper Plated Round Nose rimfire ammunition.

Symbol Number: S22LRT

Lot Numbers: GD42L and GD52L

Winchester has determined the above lots of 22 Long Rifle rimfire ammunition may contain double powder charges. Ammunition with double powder charges may subject the shooter or bystanders to a risk of serious personal injury and/or death, or cause firearm damage, rendering the firearm inoperable.

 

 

im affected by this, i have one box left out of a 1000ct order that was cabellas backorder about 8 mos ago (i can get yall the actual ship date if you want)

 

i called them they are buying back the unused box, they are sending ups with a label for pickup

i will be recieving a check as reimbursement

 

mine was 2gd52l on the flap (im assuming the 2 was the 2ct bulk box)

 

it sucks because thats my only 22lr and that shits hard to find at the moment

 

the m22 wouldnt cycle reliably in my glock conversion, but the u22 neos chewed it up fine

they give you back your purchase price

yeah, that wont do me much good..   purchase price for this was abnormally low at the time, and just as much so now..
