Modified Hi-Cap Magazine...

Am I fooling myself thinking this will keep me out of trouble with the Law..

This Mag is currently living in PA. Can she come home to NJ?

28 round Chiappa magazine blind pinned with a steel nail. Then JB weld the hole thing in place.. Blocks the follower from going more the half way.. Holds 14 rounds.

Even before I put the JB weld on the blind pin was solid. Also a blind pin is sufficient for an adjustable stock? Just say'in...

IMO, I would have to say you should be good to go. I,ve got a 30 round mag for my ar and I did the same type of thing, drilled a small hole into the bottom plate and then into the magblock which I bought and hammered in a roll pin. Now there is no way to remove the bottom plate and the pin is a oneway, no complete pass through hole. now my 30 round mag is only a 15 round mag. I think you should have no issues!

PK90, Am I understanding your answer correctly?

I was almost positive you guys were going to tell me I am asking for trouble...

Does anyone have pictures of their permanently modified mags to share?

Is the fact it is blind pinned the key technique to make it NJ legal.

From what I read, PK90 had answered the questions that had question marks in your original post:

"Can she come home to NJ?"  and  "Also a blind pin is sufficient for an adjustable stock?"

Like Griz stated, PK90 had sold lots of pinned  mags......I have a bunch myself  that I had purchased from him when he was here in NJ.  If you go to his website there are pics of them.
