What Are You Thinking About Purchasing?

Recommended Posts

I think they've upgraded since then, perhaps. I took delivery on my P226 in late December. When I was there, I saw two SP2022 kits being prepped. They both had two mags and the level 3 paddle holster.  It's in a larger plastic box than a standard P226 box.

Sig puts together kit's every once in a while. I'm not sure why, but sometimes they ship them with extra stuff like mags and holsters.

I'm gonna pass on the R51 unless it gets revised....

http://www.thetruthaboutguns.com/2014/02/foghorn/gun-review-remington-r51/

I plan to rent one before i buy. We ll see. I like Remington so i ll give them a shot.

Maybe it will turn out like the Ruger LC-9 for me. Liked it on paper until i shot it.

This review does bring up some very valid points about the design and function as well as some huge turnoffs/dangers . Thanks for sharing this.

I've burned my 1st two permits already. So, maybe, in another 1/2 year,  I'll look at getting two more. I'd be looking at upgrading from 9mm to .45acp. So, maybe a 1911 .45acp. Perhaps a .45LC revolver.

But there are other, more current priorities. Specifically, a 12G.  Probably a 930 class semi-auto.

I purchased a 930 not long ago. Kicks @ss!

As to what i want next? thinking a gen 4 g34. Been wanting to build a race gun for some time and glock seems to have the available parts at the cheapest prices.

I'm in the market for a 12 ga and partial to pump action. Came across a Model 12 today for $175 but didn't have the cash on me. I may go get it tomorrow. Or a Mossberg 500 slug gun w/rifle sights for $250...haven't decided yet but I'm leaning toward the 500.

I have five handgun calibers and three long gun calibers.

In handguns: .22, .380, 9x18, .38 sp, .357.

I'd love to get into a new caliber. Not interested in paying $0.45 per round though.

Maybe I'll stick with what I have.

What ammo are you shooting out of your 930? I picked one up used and jams every other.

What 930 do you have?  My JM Pro eats everything.... except the cheapcrap walmart Winchester Bulk.

I have the 930wf with 28 inch ported barrel. I use it for trap/skeet. I just use the cheap remington and winchester tareget loads. # 7 1/2 or 8. Cycles flawlessy.

Is your gun together correctly? make sure the spacer tube and the pusher assembly are not flip flopped.

Did you strip and clean it? If not, the gas port can be gunked up...happened to my 930, was getting FTE's from it being dirty. Also, Nobel N27  is great ammo for it...nice kick.

FN 45 Tactical

You won't be disappointed, I have one with an RMR on it and love it.  Recoil is great for a .45, trigger is super light, and it runs any ammo you put thru it.
