AlDente67 563 Posted February 12, 2014 My local FFL says it is not legal in NJ. I'm not sure why if the stock is pinned (stupid, stupid law). What else about it would be illegal? I'm in the mood for another AR for no particular reason. The Colt comes highly recommended over what they deem others to be as "hobby rifles" like the S&W MP-15 Sport. Frankly, while on that topic, unless the zombies crest the hill anytime soon, for me, it remains a hobby shooter. I won't be diving into desert combat anytime soon. What is so wrong with the Sport? Want a good AR? Build one... That's part of the fun... And you can put together whatever you want it to be..
SW99 2 Posted February 12, 2014 I was thinking the same thing when I wanted to get an AR. A buddy convinced me to build one, and trust me it is wroth it. It is a ton a fun and 2 years later I'm still looking at parts and swapping out with upgraded stuff which is the most fun and now I want to start a second build. I just got my 6920 a few weeks ago, modified by Monmouth Arms and shot it last weekend. Definitely legal...you need to find another FFL... Golf battery 1,223 Posted February 16, 2014 The 6920 in its factory form. Yes illegal. When it comes in the ffl pins the stock puts on a muzzle brake and pin welds it. Voila legal. Your ffl is a wuss. Little bitch he is.
