Blake 50 Posted March 4, 2014 oh my mistake, I removed it , No prob, what are the odds two people with opposing initials would have businesses both using those initials within 3 miles of one another and be forum vendors. Mind blown lol.
JeffreyDV 4 Posted March 6, 2014 Picked mine up today. Looks good. Twenty mags is a lot.
M0ose22 0 Posted March 10, 2014 Picked it up today from TJ Sporting arms in Bayville. Great looking rifle. The safety is really stiff though. Bolt was moving pretty good. The 20 mags all look good. Gonna give it a good cleaning. Hopefully get a chance to shoot it this week. For 450 bucks i dont think you could do much better
Newtonian 453 Posted March 10, 2014 If you are referring to the Op - the rifles are not NJ compliant out of the box. they have a threaded barrel and Slant Brake. the barrel would need to be pinned / welded to be NJ legal. About how much would that work add to the price? Seems like we're talking, between NICS, transfer fee, and gunsmithing, $750.
Blake 50 Posted March 10, 2014 About how much would that work add to the price? Seems like we're talking, between NICS, transfer fee, and gunsmithing, $750. Its 468 shipped, assume 45 for transfer and nics combined, and max of $75 for compliance work should be under $600 out the door if not cheaper.
M0ose22 0 Posted March 10, 2014 no compliance work needed. tony said it was good to go
M0ose22 0 Posted March 10, 2014 and transfer was 45. so total 513 with 20 mags!
deerpark 83 Posted March 12, 2014 Think I need to get one of these.
mikka1 2 Posted March 13, 2014 Very tempting to get one, but I still don't understand for sure - if I order one from http://www.classicfirearms.com/paprifle-2 ($450 with 20 10rders) - will it be NJ-legal out of the box or will I have to do any prnj-compliance work on it? JeffreyDV 4 Posted March 13, 2014 I bought one and didn't have any work done to it. My FFL never mentioned anything about it.
WhiskeyTangoFoxtrot 358 Posted March 13, 2014 On the thumbhole stock version, the slant brake was unpinned and could be unthreaded by hand. Not sure how it is on the pistol grip wood version. I guess it could also depend on how comfortable you were with this particular thumbhole stock being considered pistol grip. YMMV.
Scrappy 0 Posted March 13, 2014 According to my FFL the thumbhole stock is not considered a pistol grip and therefore is not an evil feature. If you look at the new AWB legislation being proposed, they specifically add thumbhole as an evil feature.
deerpark 83 Posted April 6, 2014 I wanted a black one then they sold out. Then I thought, ok I'll get the wooden ones, they they sold out. Who knows when they'll get more.
Scrap 4 Posted April 6, 2014 I really wanted to add one of these to my original Zastava PAP and the 10 mags I lucked into. I spent money on a Benelli SuperNova Tactical that could have gone here but... Benelli need just trumped this, Italian sexy smoove stylin son!
deerpark 83 Posted May 30, 2014 It's a single stack. But with 20 mags for that price seems like a good deal. Its baaaaaaaaacccccccckkkkkkkkk But this time with only 12 mags. Wish I hadnt pussed around last time. Still, 12's not bad. I called and asked if they could include more mags for an additional cost but they said no. http://www.classicfirearms.com/paprifle-

Fishpaw 17 Posted June 1, 2014 There are some people who can/have opened up the mag well and made these into a double stack rifle. Most of the AKs out there are imported as low caps and converted by Century, etc.

RecessedFilter 222 Posted June 2, 2014 Know anyone who'll do it for me? You can do it yourself with a Dreme, that's what most people do. It's not hard, just take your time and make sure to fit a mag in every time and once it's snug you're good.

Buy a mag and make a template of the top out of cardboard or something?
