Steve_G 51 Posted February 28, 2014 Of course, after I get my 10 rounders. Just released. http://shop.cz-usa.com/ProductDetail/11100_Mag-Cz-7585-9mm-15rd
JT Custom Guns 956 Posted February 28, 2014 As soon as A2006 goes through you'll be glad you have the 10rd mags..................
hiker88 22 Posted February 28, 2014 I ordered some cheap Promags for practice. I didn't want to break my original (expensive) CZ's doing dry fire/reload practice. Besides, I saw Adam's Promags run flawlessly during a match.
Steve_G 51 Posted February 28, 2014 As soon as A2006 goes through you'll be glad you have the 10rd mags.................. Funny guy. We will eventually have a 10 round limit here in nj but, I don't think it will happen with our current governor. Besides, I WILL NOT COMPLY!!!
sof 0 Posted February 28, 2014 I've had no issues with the promags despite their reputation. Hundreds of rounds through them. And, despite the pending vote on regulations buy them, don't let the d__kheads win.
DargZ 5 Posted February 28, 2014 I'd love to order some but that seems a bit pricey for Mecgar magazines. Are these new manufacture as I thought they discontinued the 15 rounders?
njluger 5 Posted February 28, 2014 Very nice - now I can update our 15 round mag sticky with this new info! Thanks Steve_G, I added this to the following sticky thread: http://njgunforums.com/forum/index.php/topic/27176-where-can-i-get-nj-compliant-15-round-mags-for-my/
njluger 5 Posted February 28, 2014 I'd love to order some but that seems a bit pricey for Mecgar magazines. Are these new manufacture as I thought they discontinued the 15 rounders? This was the same price back when CZ-USA sold the 15 round mags prior to "discontinuing" them. In the past they ran specials where it came to $24.99/mag - maybe they'll do so again. These are new manufacture mags, not NOS, in fact the only difference between the 15 rounders and the 16 rounders is the follower. The mag body/spring/base plate are identical, so it's not like Mec-Gar has to run a special line. I think with CO under the same restrictions as NJ, CZ-USA saw an increased market demand for 15 rounders. I know I emailed them in the past asking them to bring back the 15 rounders.... DSD1026 48 Posted March 1, 2014 If u ever find these at 25 per mag, let us all know so we can all get a few.. Lol.. I did buy a pro mag 15 rd mag recently and while not as smooth as a MG, still functioned well enough but only ran about 75 rds thru it
Duppie 73 Posted March 1, 2014 If u ever find these at 25 per mag, let us all know so we can all get a few.. Lol.. I did buy a pro mag 15 rd mag recently and while not as smooth as a MG, still functioned well enough but only ran about 75 rds thru it So did I, Saw them for $14.99 each and said what the hell but mine rattle with 15 rounds loaded they are essentially 14 rounders, never had an issue with performance however. DSD1026 48 Posted March 1, 2014 i had all 15 loaded in mine and they seemed to be OK, but MG's are decidedly better.. PM's are OK in a pinch or if you get em cheap enough.. (14.99 is cheap enough)... i would pick up a couple more if i find em that cheap.. but would rather have 15 rd MG's if they can be found for less than 30/mag.. heh
Steve_G 51 Posted March 1, 2014 Ordering through CZ USA you are going to pay msrp unless they have a sale. I'm hoping that they start selling them at Brownells or Midway eventually. Then again, I don't really need them, can't load more than 10 for production anyway.
hiker88 22 Posted March 1, 2014 Btw, Greg Cote has those 10 rd CZ mags for 37 bucks. He's also selling a plastic base pad replacement for the steel 15 rd mags.
DSD1026 48 Posted March 1, 2014 $37 for a 10 round mag when a MG 16 rd at Midway mag is like $23 really kills me.. less rounds, less steel, for a considerably higher premium pisses me off.. hmph..
