Help IDing this old school Strider fixed blade

Recommended Posts

I am not much of a knife guy.

Can anyone ID this model Strider, and maybe give me a little info about it? It was just given to me and I can't even figure out which model it is.

Thanks!

Boom Boss!

Closest match I could find as far as the blade goes, different handle.

Cool, thanks.

Yeah, I saw that one too, but that's not it. Mine doesn't have the 2 finger cutouts. I know it's old school enough to be out of current production and I can find no info on out of production Strider knives.

The DB looks closest in the current production stuff, but I don't think that's right either.....

Alright, so I contacted Daryl Bolke, the guy that helped design the DB and whom the DB is named for (I have known him for a while, I just never made that connection) and he confirmed, after laughing at me :), that it is not a DB or any evolution thereof.

He told me that, as contrlvr posted above, it is a Strider MFS-T.

Thanks for the help!
