What constitutes a manufacturer? I know Henry but didn't think there was any nj based gun companies

this signature exceeds the 15 character count capacity

I'm assuming anyone who holds an 07 ffl. You don't have to be a manufacturer with a defined product line to be an 07.

So gunsmiths are considered MFR's.

I really want to know who the 2 destructive device manufacturers are.

Not quite. 01 FFLs are allowed to conduct gunsmithing activies. 07s are able to do everything an 01 can as well as manufacture firearms. "Manufacturing" in the eyes of the ATF is a rather broad activity though. Taking a complete upper and a complete lower then pushing the two pins together is considered manufacturing by the ATF. Installing a LPK in a stripped lower is considered manufacturing too because the FFL is adding value to the firearm prior to sale. Interestingly enough, I believe painting/refinishing is not manufacturing but gunsmithing.

What about the importers? Who are the importers?

I know Griffin and Howe can import any firearms from abroad .....but who are the others?

Eagle Imports - they import Bersa

RSA Enterprises - may be another name for Eagle though as the address is the same
