Silence Dogood 468 Posted April 25, 2014 Next Thursday, there will be an open forum on Civil Rights (gun rights ARE civil rights) and Liberties in Princeton, NJ. The candidates running for the Congressional seat (12th District) that Rush Holt will vacate include: Upendra Chivukula (D) Linda Greenstein (D) Bonnie Watson Coleman (D) Andrew Zwicker (D) Alieta Eck ( R) ALL candidates above, EXCEPT Alieta Eck, have been sponsors or co-sponsors of the many so-called gun control bills in the NJ Senate and/or Assembly in the last several years. Linda Greenstein was one of the infamous three Senators caught chanting "Confiscate, confiscate, confiscate" on open microphone last year (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56KCBxADL64). Please come and ask your questions! This is YOUR opportunity to QUESTION New Jersey legislators who want to carry their anti-freedom views to Washington DC. RSVP recommended - https://www.aclu.org/secure/nj-12th-congressional-debate

Silence Dogood 468 Posted April 25, 2014 "When our Constitution was framed, the signers envisioned our country to be one of citizen legislators—people who lived their lives in the private sector, but took off for a time to serve their country in the Congress. They did not envision career politicians who would become entrenched in Washington, DC and soon lose touch with what is going on back home. Many politicians are thinking of the next election and who they can favor in order to win re-election. That is not me. If I became a Member of the House of Representatives, I would pledge to follow the Constitution even when it might seem unpopular." Dr. Alieta Eck Right - so come to the forum and ask the Democrats why they have abrogated their oaths to support and defend the Constitution.
Norseman 2 Posted April 25, 2014 Who's going? Let's have a meetup and walk in together. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Silence Dogood 468 Posted April 26, 2014 I will be there. This is ostensibly a discussion of "all the other civil rights" but not necessarily gun rights. Yet, many of the legislators that have sponsored anti-gun legislation will be there. These same folks, but NOT Dr. Alieta Eck (since she is an 'R') will ALSO be at: http://www.lwvprinceton.org/events/12thcongressionaldistrictdemocraticprimaryforum on Tuesday, April 29th at 7:00 PM at Princeton Town Hall. This is ANOTHER opportunity to confront "Confiscate, confiscate, confiscate" folks who think they can run for national office (Rush Holt's Congressional seat) without being challenged on their record against free Americans. Be there, be vocal. People need to HEAR you.
Maksim 1,504 Posted April 26, 2014 would love to be there, but unless Russia invades Ukraine... will be on the plane to Moscow. Surprised only 1 republican candidate.

CMJeepster 2,766 Posted April 28, 2014 I saw Bonnie Watson Coleman (D) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bonnie_Watson_Coleman) pounding the pavement yesterday during "Communiversity" in downtown Princeton. If I Wasn't in a rush to leave for a commitment and if I hadn't had the wife & family with me, I would have stopped and asked her about her statements during last year's L&PS big meeting. She testified that she didn't really know anything about the legislation but felt that tightening the already restrictive laws was a good thing. And now she's running for Congress... CMJeepster 2,766 Posted April 28, 2014 http://conservativenewjersey.com/hey-democrats-poll-this "A state lawmaker’s sons have admitted robbing a children’s clothing store at gunpoint. William Carter-Watson, 21, and Jared C. Coleman, 19, pleaded guilty Friday to first-degree armed robbery. The sons of Assemblywoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (D-Ewing) said they participated in the March 12 robbery of Kids-R-Us at the Mercer Mall. As part of a plea agreement, the men will be sentenced as second-degree offenders and face up to seven years in prison. Other charges against them will be dismissed at the Jan. 18 sentencing. Coleman and Carter-Watson are free on $60,000 bail."

Silence Dogood 468 Posted April 30, 2014 My question was quashed tonight by the League of Women Voters. I've never seen more naïve, stupid, liberal claptrap in all my life. NOBODY allowed to put forward a challenging question. All candidates spouting off about "the evil Tea Party" blah blah blah. At least on Thursday people will be allowed to ask real questions, "hopefully."

Silence Dogood 468 Posted April 30, 2014 They have an official video recording - don't listen to it, you'll become physically ill from libtardiasis. Otherwise, the League of Women Voters does not permit recording. I don't know about the ACLU event Thursday.
CMJeepster 2,766 Posted April 30, 2014 Politics in New Jersey is such a crock of shit. On the local level, I can see it being a true competition among the political parties, but on the state & federal level, it's fixed. George Washington was so right on...
