RecessedFilter 222 Posted May 30, 2014 My apologies about being a ghost on the forums lately. Once the longer days and nice weather kick in, I am working and working and working some more so I have a little time to lurk but not as much as I like to. I can't believe the last shootout was over a month ago, is that really true? Damn. Well, time to get out on the 7th!

Sota 1,191 Posted June 1, 2014 I'll see if I can get my lazy ass out of bed early enough to make it.
DeerSlayer 241 Posted June 2, 2014 I am going to try making this one. Gives me a good reason to get my ass in gear this week and fix my over under. One barrel isn't striking the primer heavy enough to set it off.
Malice4you 627 Posted June 3, 2014 In +1 or maybe +2 Also, an FYI: Dicks has Federal 12G, 2 3/4", #8 breast cancer shells as buy 4 ($6.99 ea) get 1 free. I didn't see this advertised and didn't find out until I was home and looked at the receipt. Dunno if there's a limit, but if not, would make it $56 a case
magnawing 5 Posted June 3, 2014 If you can get to Jim Flynn's during the week, he has 12 ga target loads for $61/case (tax included) and clays $11.50/case, tax included. That's his everyday price-out the door- Just keep in mind, he's Cash or check only...no credit or debit. A little more than Dick's "special" but you're supporting a LGS instead of paying a CEO's bonus.

RecessedFilter 222 Posted June 4, 2014 Just today I realized the Reading Air Show is this weekend so with that said, I may be going to that saturday instead. I did not realize this date would interrupt that. It's an awesome air show and I don't want to miss it, I've gone the past two years and it's a lot of fun. If I do go, it's really not that big of a deal and the shootout will still go on of course.

fishnut 2,358 Posted June 5, 2014 I have my licenses so we are good not that anyone ever checks anyway. They have a hard enough time emptying the garbage cans at the range
ogfarmer 138 Posted June 5, 2014 I don't know if I will be there or not until that morning. It all depends on the weather tonight and tomorrow and how much rain we get. If we get a lot rain and my fields are muddy and I can't plant then I will be there. If the fields aren't too muddy then I might not be there, depends if I wanna start my day late or not. Lalo 13 Posted June 5, 2014 Sucks you guys won't be going. I'm sure we'll see you on the next one. I'm planning on getting there by like 8:30am, Burgundy JK. Someone flag me down if I don't see you. How many people are bringing throwers?
HBecwithFn7 296 Posted June 5, 2014 I have my licenses so we are good OK. I am in the process of getting mine also, but it will take time. not that anyone ever checks anyway. They have a hard enough time emptying the garbage cans at the range The first shootout I ever attended there was on a Sunday, when they were also having a license exam on the far side. It also happened to be the only one (so far) that included a visit by the F & W Police, playing "bad ass." The guy sees me first, apparently, and blurts out, "Are you charge?" I pointed to Drez ( )... I have no idea what the problem was, but it didn't look/sound good. Later, though, all seemed resolved and our group remained "in tact" (i.e. no one was "escorted off.")...
