what else is great about the MSA over the howard leight (i have both) is that the MSA compress all the sound.  so you hear the gunshots and people talking all at the same level.  if someone is talking to you and a gunshot goes off, it just cuts all the sound with the HL so you may not hear a range officer or instructor as easily

Anyone use the surefire ear plugs? Can you really hear normal conversation And block out loud sounds like active earpro

I have the Surefire EP7 plugs, only been to the range once so far so I really don't have much to compare..
