FishNHard 145 Posted July 3, 2014 Hey All. I am looking to get a wet tumbler and was wondering what you guys recommend , My wife has one of the 3lb rock tumblers but seems rather small for cleaning brass. Thanks for any input. John

Heavyopp 167 Posted July 3, 2014 No need to go to big dawg -- why not buy one made by a fellow NJ shooter -- no shipping, local enough if any issues arise and a better product Or make your own search -- "grungy brass turned to bling" right here in the reloading forum
Wikkie2204 0 Posted July 4, 2014 +1 for Heavyopp. I bought one of his tumblers and haven't looked back. Well built, easy to use, and I can do a ton of brass at a time, the best part is no lead dust in the air for my family to breath in.

carl_g 568 Posted July 4, 2014 I have a thumler tumbler. It works great. Not as much capacity as heavy pop's style but for me it works great. I picked it up used for 100 bux.

John I started with the HF 6 lb rock tumbler and have made my own since then. The 6lb did 90% of what I needed it to. Just the volume was a pain when I would try to load 1000+ cases of rifle ammo in that week.
