mikka1 2 Posted July 13, 2014 I have 4 or 5 Samsung tablets in total (along with 3 or 4 Samsung smartphones) in my family... and after using this "fleet" I can only say one thing absolutely confidently ... DO. NOT. GO. WITH. SAMSUNG. EVER. Period. I am slowly replacing this crap with LG, Nexus'es and other high quality stuff, but my mistake and nearly religious preference to Samsung over those years will bite me for some more time for sure. Buying first Nexus 5 smartphone was actually an eye-opener and a kind of a moment of truth - "Really??! This can work so great???!!!! I wanna ditch this crap NOW..." iCARRY 0 Posted July 13, 2014 I am an apple fan if you can't tell, but I own a little bit of everything. iPads are great, screen is very responsive, movies are crystal clear, works seamlessly with my iPhone, iMac, and MacBook. But you pay for it. They are not cheap. Resale value is great though too. My kindle fire hd is awesome for reading books, recipe books, movies on amazon prime. The screen is not very precise, slow response. Opening web pages seems very slow. Battery life is not good if using wifi. If just reading, it's great. They are not expensive. Wife has a dell tablet for work. Have not heard her really complain about it, but it's set up to run specific programs for work. If I had to choose one it would be the iPad, but I will say for the price, the kindle is great.
GJC88 0 Posted July 13, 2014 I have a Nexus 7 by Asus and love it. The newer version has a much better processor and is still very reasonable, especially compared to the iPad.
Shawnmoore81 623 Posted July 13, 2014 I use the iPad mini 64 and love it. Very easy to use and shares a lot with my phone.
