Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted August 4, 2014 The SBI code is the applicant's unique identifier. Your FPID number is the same as your SBI number.
John Boy 6 Posted August 4, 2014 Bob ... Thanks Kindly for the reply! I would have never guessed it's one's FPID
ryan_j 0 Posted August 5, 2014 If they don't tell you do it online, then don't, because they likely aren't prepared to accept it online.
Joe G 0 Posted July 7, 2019 I just submitted an application to purchase and they (NJSP) tells me me my SBI number is wrong. And I took it off my last pistol permit , and FID card. What gives? Appreciate any advice.
JohnnyB 4,322 Posted July 7, 2019 Mine has 6 numbers with a letter B at the end. Depending on the font used, a B can be mistaken for an 8.

And I took it off my last pistol permit , and FID card. What gives? Appreciate any advice. There are times when the SBI number comes up wrong. It could be due to a typo, or a keying error on the Muni when submitting it into the system. Also the number changes when you move, so if you have moves since your last HG permit possibly they are picking the SBI number up as invalid (and therefore wrong). Contact your local PD, and ask them to pull your file and look at the number they issued you vs the number they submitted. Possibly you will need them to issue you a corrected FID card........ Joe G 0 Posted July 7, 2019 Thank you JT for the insight. It confused me because the last permit has my SBI on it and that’s what I used. They said its invalid. but thank you, very much. joe
RScannelli 0 Posted April 5, 2020 Is there a list where you can find your NJ town ORI number online?
JohnnyB 4,322 Posted April 5, 2020 I have the list but the file is too large to post here! I get You are only allowed to upload 61.44kB. PM your email and I will send it to you.
JohnnyB 4,322 Posted April 5, 2020 @Mrs. Peel Why lately do I get " You are only allowed to upload 61.44kB." when uploading a doc or pic?

I can only imagine you've got too many images stored and are running out of space? But, that's just a guess... I've posed the question via PM to our true "techie" Krdshrk, so we can get some guidance re: anything you (or we) can do to free up more space, etc. I asked him to post the answer within this thread. Sorry I can't answer off the top of my head! Let's see what he says.

You're not a Premier member - and standard members only get a small upload quota - you may have to go back and find old uploads and remove them to free up space, or if you need to, upload on another site and link it. I found this list here from the NJ FARS Thread, but it does not have the correct info in some cases Link: https://www.icpsr.umich.edu/files/NACJD/ORIs/34oris.html
JohnnyB 4,322 Posted April 5, 2020 I am not a Premier Member? I am insulted! The mods should have reminded me to pay my dues! I always support this board. Oh....Here's the ORI list. NJ ORI.pdf
