karlkurtz32 0 Posted September 18, 2014 Do any gunshops in Central/South Jersey have layaway? I currently have a decent amount of cash that I want to use on a Tavor by the end of the year. I just don't want to be tempted to use it on something else.
maintenanceguy 509 Posted September 18, 2014 I've never done layaway but I have paid a percentage to hold a handgun for me until permits came through. I think most shops will do that.

Howard 538 Posted September 18, 2014 I know Cheyenne mountain does, as they made me put one on layaway for an hour until my nics came back during their big sale.

PK90 3,569 Posted September 19, 2014 karlkurtz32, Which Tavor you looking for, and where are you located? I can do layaway and have a location in Delaware that you can pickup from. No NICS charges, no sales tax, no transfer fees. Paul of "Estrella Ordnance"

Murphy4570 15 Posted October 7, 2014 I've done layaway at Bob's in Glassboro before. Put $200 down and then made $50 payments a week until it was paid for.
TonyS. 12 Posted October 7, 2014 Don't know about traditional layaway but Effinger's in Bound Brook will let you put a down payment on a gun. I know a guy who did this and then payed in full when he went to pick it up. Why don't you call them and ask? Can't hurt. Ask for Ron. He's the firearms manager.
