seamusSU 0 Posted September 21, 2014 I finally picked up my new Ruger Security Six this morning after a 3 month permit/OGAM wait. I was planning to wait and get a S&W 686 but I couldn't resist when I saw this in the used case for a ridiculously low price! It will now join my Mark I, 10/22, and American Rimfire. I'm planning to replace the grips but it seems my options are limited since it's an "old model" (150 series). Anyway, on with the pics:

High Exposure 5,635 Posted September 21, 2014 Don't swap the grips, just use what the old time gunfighters used - T-Grips http://www.t-grips.com/TGrips.html
T Bill 649 Posted September 21, 2014 Looks real good for its age. Treat her well and she'll last two lifetimes. A couple of springs from Wolff (#17106) and a little trigger polishing and I'm sure she'll run like a swiss watch. Good Luck with it. I've had mine 30 years. illy 1 Posted September 21, 2014 Nice find, congrats. I'll second HE's recommendation on the Tyler T grips.
scarecrow 0 Posted September 21, 2014 Nice, way cool. I always wanted one of those. But at least I have a GP100 and a Vaquero

I've had mine 30 years. It doesn't have any scratches or wear on it that I can find. I really thought it was too good to be true for the price. I'll leave it as is for now but I'll keep the springs in mind if I'm feeling adventurous.
