How are they with shipping first time ordering and I try to be here to get it so the wife does not see

How are they?   THEY are UPS.  Probably best to ask your wife :)  If you want to hide stuff from her you can always just have it shipped to my house, I'll share most of it with you.

Mikeythubs I can save they are good to work with. Shipment time is about 2 or 3 days from receipt of tracking number.

I shot over 100 rounds of reman 9mm 124 grain bullets. No problems at all. An I did order another case today.

I think they are drowning in ammo, that is why they keep having free shipping specials and the prices keep dropping.  On this last order I got a "shipped" email 30 minutes after placing the order.

520 rounds across 9mm (115r, 124r, 147r) 45acp (230r) and .223 (55r)... only 1 problem round and that was/is a rifle round.

I've been shooting up my Federal American Eagle ammo first, since it's older. That's all gone now so it's on to my CCI Blazer Brass stash and then to the FM stuff big time.

Don't know about delays.  I placed a second order for the free shipping and it was originally scheduled to come on Monday 10/6 but I just got an email from UPS that it will be delivered today (10/3).

also I don't know about the drowning in ammo bit.

their 9mm page is pretty sparse.

no 45acp at all.

no .223.

2 items of 5.56.

no .357.

3 items of .38.

especially wish they'd get cracking on some .38spl already.

Looks like they have a little 38 spl now.  5% off http://www.freedommunitions.com/dealoftheday.asp

The only downside with Freedom Munitions is they are super s-l-o-w to process and pack the order to be shipped. Once UPS gets the ammo, it's only a few days to deliver.

Took a little while but my ammo is on a truck for delivery today. Always a pretty good deal if you're not in a hurry.

They just must not like certain people :)  I got mine a week ago.

    • I very seriously doubt this has anything to do with terrorism.    1) Harbor pilots are VERY seriously vetted, and highly trained. Not to mention extremely well paid. My experience knowing a few of them, and knowing how they are recruited and screened tells me that there is a slim to highly unlikely chance that a harbor pilot would have participated in anything like that.    2) Maintenance of foreign flag ships is well known to be dubious. Especially these days. These were NOT US flag, Jones act sailors. It was (to my understanding) a largely Indian crew on that ship, with a Ukrainian Captain. Indian crews are not exactly known for being stellar.    3) The bunkers (fuel) these ships use is ‘Bunker C’, which is a heavy, dirty fuel oil that can, and usually is, pretty contaminated. This stuff ain’t your car grade gasoline or diesel fuel. It’s nasty.   It requires nearly constant filter changes and maintenance to the engine/generators. The ship took on fuel prior to departing port, which would stir up all kinds of shit in the fuel tanks, which would contribute to particulates in the fuel lines/filters.    4) I’d say the posting of the chief engineer for Maserek above was pretty spot on as far as chain of events.    This was a shitty accident, with horrible timing and outcome. Not a terror attack.
    • I saw Lara's interview on Bannon's War Room, and that gave me pause for thought. Her conjecture depends primarily on the veracity of her sources. Regardless, if it's not applicable in any way to this ship disaster, the methods described seem valid to me. And worthy of consideration for the future. As I said before, IMO something is coming.
