gleninjersey 2,134 Posted October 5, 2014 Looks like a good entry level AR for those that don't want to build their own. Ruger reliability and customer suppor (if you ever need it). 100% made in America. Will be interesting to see how it is received. Suggested retail price of $599. 1/8 twist cold hammer-forged chrome-moly steel barrel folding rear poly rear sight telescoping six-position stock (another no-no in our nanny state) http://www.gunsandammo.com/first-look/first-look-ruger-ar-556/
GRIZ 3,365 Posted October 5, 2014 Once they've been out there a while the OTC price will be around $500. People will buy these before doing a cheap build. Ruger should do very well with this.

illy 1 Posted October 5, 2014 Doubt that dealer cost is more than $500Online retailers are listing it at $599.99. Black Friday sales for $500.00 are likely.
rightisright 3 Posted October 5, 2014 Interesting. Unlike the S&W Sport, it has an FA and dust cover. And a 1:8 barrel for those who want to throw heavier bullets down range. Should be a good seller.
checko 180 Posted October 5, 2014 Interesting price point for sure. I'd like to see how they hold up. They are saving money somewhere Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk
