jrfly3006 42 Posted October 11, 2014 So after firing a couple hundred or so out of my 10/22 the other day I came to thinking that there has to be a better way to load those 10rd box mags...Sooooo..anyone know if any loading devices work with those mags?..my fingertips thank you! AdamM 42 Posted October 11, 2014 This is about as close as you can come. http://www.mcfaden.com/McFadden-Machine-Lightnin-Grip-Loader-s/1828.htm I have the attachment for the MP 15/22 and works well. My friend also has the attachment for the 10/22, but says it is harder to use because almost the whole mag fits inside of the attachment and makes it harder to remove (as we cannot get the "normal" capacity mags in NJ, which would be easier to remove). I suggest to him that he might be able to file out a notch on the sides to make it easier to remove. Dunno if he's tried that yet.

94dak 0 Posted October 11, 2014 i got a butler creek, a little clumsy but works a lot better than doin it 1 round at a time by hand, they also make 10 round banana clips for 10/22, l;ittle easier to get out of the loader

Invariably one had to remove the errant cartridge to continue. In the end, it was more trouble than it was worth and I gave up on it. I would love to find a unit that works reliably and doesn't damage the projectile or casing.
94dak 0 Posted October 11, 2014 that's what I meant by clumsy, but if you take your time and be very deliberate with the loading it works a lot better than doin it by hand
