I don't have these personally, but I see a lot of people wearing them..... Howard Leight Sport Electronic Earmuff...
DSD1026 48 Posted October 13, 2014 when i was shooting indoor, i doubled up. The electronic muffs mentioned above with orange foam ear buds underneath. Everything is louder and more amplified inside, so doubling up is a good idea.

MandM 2 Posted October 13, 2014 I don't have these personally, but I see a lot of people wearing them..... Howard Leight Sport Electronic Earmuff... I have 2 pair of them and they are a great bang for your buck. (I bought mine when they were on sale at Midway for $37.) BUT... if you're sensitive, plugs under muffs is the only way to go... pretty much no matter what muffs you got.
XDm9-3.8 2 Posted October 13, 2014 A pair of Surefire Earpro's (pick the size model that best suits you) with the Leight electronic muffs over the top have worked exceptionally well for me.
raz-0 1,259 Posted October 13, 2014 electronic muffs over disposable 33db NRR foam plugs. It's the best I have come up with for reducing noise and still being able to react to the speech of others on the range. I still wouldn't want to shoot rifle indoors with it more than absolutely necessary, but it tames comped open pistols shooting close by pretty well. TonyS. 12 Posted October 13, 2014 I wear Surefire plugs with earmuffs for indoor and just the muffs for outdoor ranges.
PD2K 115 Posted October 13, 2014 I don't have these personally, but I see a lot of people wearing them..... Howard Leight Sport Electronic Earmuff... I have those...light weight and work pretty good. However if you want more protection, I would also use foam earplug underneath the muff.
