"Carlos Hathcock" match, any info?

Does anyone have info on the "Hathcock" match at Cherry Ridge?  I am looking to go and check it out but have no idea what to expect.  I won't be shooting, just observing.

You should go and shoot it C! Its a great match.

 

Here is the format: 20 minutes to shoot 20 rounds at 300 yards. You get 5 minutes for spotted sighters then the 20 minutes begins. Your 20 rounds are unspotted and the target is pulled down and pasted after each shot. Makes it tough to see where you just hit. Target is a reduced size silhouette target. They sell them at the clubhouse if you wanted to practice for the match.

 

Huge turnout for this match so get there early. Shooters divided into teams of four. Some guys make a team, others are thrown together on a team if they have not designated anyone.

 

Home cooked food is available at the end of the match if you want to hang out.

Thanks for the encouragement, however I have never shot 100 yds much less 300.  I am still pulling my rifle together, waiting on rings from Ruger.  When they show, I will have the basics.  Will need a bi-pod at some point as well. 

 

I'm also looking for the dates for the match.  I didn't see anything on the CR site.
