H&R model 088 barrels

I have a hand me down 088 and while I love it, it doesn't have a specific use for me atm. I have a benelli nova pump that I do 99% of my shotgun shooting with unless I feel like specifically messing around with the old 088. I however have been looking for info but can't seem to find any on rifled slug barrels for these shotguns. I'd love to turn this into a fun slug gun so if anyone had any info please let me know. Keep in mind the gun was free so even if the barrel is the price of a modern equivalent... I'm still up in money on the deal. Thanks.

Check your 088 and contact H&R if your model can accept a replacement barrel per their requirements.
