I just realized that this deal was already posted. Sorry for the double-post.

 

Spoke with someone on Amazon chat, they could not price match immediately. But as recommended by the Amazon chat bot, I went on the product page and clicked on "tell us about a lower price?" under Feedback under Product Information and I posted a link to Cabelas product page. This worked after 1 day for some people on another forum (i.e. the price went down the next day and later went back up). Also, Amazon may unexpectedly give you a small reward for not price-matching immediately, YMMV.

Only partially correct. Amazon only charges tax to residents in NJ if the item they are receiving is being shipped from within NJ. These earmuffs are not coming from NJ and therefore no sales tax. If you don't believe me, try placing the item in your cart and proceeding to checkout.

Personally, I bought them specifically to use with plugs underneath so that I can shoot long guns. I have the HL Impact Pros and they stick out about 2 feet from the sides of my head.

Same - outdoors with pistols it's fine by itself.  Indoors or with rifles, I double up with plugs underneath.

Deal is over again. Price was down since at least 7 this morning (according to a user on another forum) and it was down when I bought it. Try what I did: price matching using the same link or talking to the chat bot. Then see if it goes down tomorrow morning. Can't lose much from trying. Now I'm getting my earmuffs on Dec 2nd and I no longer have to wait for Cabelas backorder.
