CZ75 40th Anniversary

I was considering a CZ for my next purchase when I came across this.  I'm not sure its worth the premium and I have mixed feelings about the looks, what are your thoughts?

I wouldnt spend the extra money on that weird looking CZ..  heh.. i like the polished stainless, but IMO, it would be a bitch to keep clean & purty..  i went with the matte stainless myself...

I'm with DSD1026, the matte stainless is the nicest looking of them all.  But I have to admit I also love my plain black on with VZ grips, which you can see in my sig below.

That anniversary model is uglyyyy. Plus those types of models are usually to display in a case and not really to shoot.

 

The stainless steel 75b's are so sick. I wish I got one of those instead of matte black.

If you are buying that one, I would say get it for the purpose of collecting only.  Who knows?  There may be the day that someone will look at that gun and say I must absolutely have it and pay you top dollar for it.

 

If you plan on shooting it, get a regular 75 or if you have deep pockets, one of the CZC custom Accu-Shadows.

Thanks for the replies.  I really don't want a safe queen.  I agree its way over priced for a 75 and at that price point, even as a collectable, I just don't see it making sense.  And then there's the tribal art on it(not a fan).......

I'm a big fan of CZ. I've just purchased a CZ75, the tactical version with the p****y-*s* de-cocker, weighs a ton and I broke my shoulder racking the slide. So maybe I'm the wrong person to ask. But as my kids would say that gun is HID. For $800 less you can get the same gun in a more manly configuration.
