Not on your list, but I would pick the Beretta Nano.

Smaller than most on that list. Has no manual safety, and no external slide catch. Handles the 9mm recoil like a big gun. I am very accurate with it out to 7yds without using the sights, just point and shoot.

Another vote for the Beretta Nano.

I have one.  Just added on a centerfire laser.  It's snagless.  Has 6 or 8 round mags.  Long, relatively heavy trigger pull but it's a good trigger.  As there's no safety and it's striker fired, I would prefer a long trigger pull like this anyway.

No love for the kahr pm9..... Wow. Also if you aren't dead set on a semi try the Ruger LCR. Thats how a trigger should feel.

Btw voted for the xds.

Changed to pm9

Ever take a PM9 apart?

You know what it says inside?

GLOCK

If GLOCK made a single stack I'd be there.

But since they do not, I'll take the next best thing.

I have a PM9. Had it for close to 7 years or so now.

Great gun, reliable, nice trigger, usable sights, slim, lightweight, everything I wanted an a sub-compact single stack 9 - but it is expensive. I got lucky and bought it off a co-worker for ~$300.

I shot a buddy's Shield. I want one now - but... I don't know of it will replace my PM9 as a carry gun.

Have one of these on order, which reminds me I need to go pay for this! Completely forgot until this thread jogged my memory. Been working all day and night this past week with the cold spell. If I don't see another frozen pipe or gelled oil tank until next winter it will be too soon.

*** Update***

Paid in full waiting on permits, I'm excited!

I have carried the Shield everyday all day, with few exceptions, since the first of August. And while I would not dare say that I could have had any pistol I wanted, I could have had any on your list .

the Shield is superb, perhaps the perfect combination of a Service Caliber and duty-pistol and a concealed carry firearm. Its a joy to shoot and operate / maintain / etc. but you also forget you're carrying it several times a day.

It would be nice to carry a show piece, but I love my shield.
