I thought there would be many responses to this, maybe some people don't know or remember Red Skeleton but looking at this video he was ahead of his time, what I remember most is that he was a gentleman and he never used foul language to get a joke.

Unfortunately a lot of that isn't true, if it ever was?  States that wouldn't backstab each other? A republic? A government controlled by the people instead of the other way around?

 

It may have been inspirational and true at some point, but given current climate is actually a bit creepy.

It was true, at one time, a long time ago. Things are 180 degrees from that now and getting worse by the day

Listen to Paul Harvey's 1965 radio show, "If I were the devil...." and tell me what you think now!  These men knew what freedom was and what was required of the people at large.  Damned schools don't teach that anymore and we pay them more for less.  But as citizens, it is our fault we let our guard down and let this happen.  Shame on you, citizen!
