Akarmo 0 Posted February 22, 2016 I've got a SAR-1 (no threads) and want to put a slant brake on it. I've tried tack welding it on to the front sight block a few times but it keeps popping off. I'll admit my welding skills are not great but I was looking for another way to do it if possible. Any thoughts?

Any thoughts? Yes, it's very simple. Go to a shop called Tier 1 Defense and get your barrel threaded and have them permanently attach the slant brake. They do really nice work and that slant brake will never come off.
medved11 71 Posted February 23, 2016 +1 for Tier 1 Defense. Mike threaded the barrel and pinned the brake on both of my Saigas.
