NJSUX 2 Posted April 3, 2015 Interested in purchasing a GSG 522. Im wondering if the retractable stock would be legal on this pinned to the closed position?

johnp 45 Posted April 3, 2015 That one isnt legal...need the full length barrel and stock. Why do you need the full length stock if the OAL is within legal specs? I don't see why the rifle would be illegal if the OAL length is met, and the stock in pinned.
vladtepes 1,060 Posted April 4, 2015 if the barrel is 16in+ doesn't have threads and all that.. i don't see why not.. pinning the stock closed does not technically make it illegal.. it is still a rifle with a non telescopeing stock.. but I have to ask.. why would you ever do that? RecessedFilter 222 Posted April 4, 2015 If that is the "SD" version it will be good as long as you pin the stock. I'd get the SD with the fixed stock and you're good to go.
DeerSlayer 241 Posted April 4, 2015 I recently sold an SD mine had the standard MP5 style full stock. But I'm going to tell you cleaning that gun is a PITA! Use the cleanest ammo you can find in it. Once it gets dirty you get light primer strikes, FTF, FTE, stove pipes. If you're planning on shooting cheap bulk ammo you're going to hate this gun. When it works it's a really fun gun to shoot. The fun dosent last long once it gets fouled up though. Good luck with yours.
AverageJoe 95 Posted April 4, 2015 The way the picture looks, the barrel looks short compared to my GSG-5...if the barrel makes length and oal with the stock collapsed is there, then its G2G.
