Polak 3 Posted April 10, 2015 I'm getting more and more interested in 9mm rifles for some reason. I recently picked up an MP5 clone from Atlantic Firearms and now I'm considering this ($1589 beauty): 10 round mags are about $15 but my concern, is the barrel extension a flash hider? Other than that, it seems legal in NJ. If that is a flash hider, what would it cost for someone to drill out the blind pin, remove the barrel extension, and blind pin a new one (faux suppressor)? Vlad G 345 Posted April 10, 2015 Seek medical help Not only is that thing horrid looking, 9mm rifles in general are pointless, as far as I'm concerned

Melgamatic 66 Posted April 10, 2015 I recently bought a Beretta CX4 in 9mm, with the 92FS magazines. It's a LOT of fun to shoot, and at 25 yds it makes one hole (almost) with the iron sights. I already have about 20 92 mags for my M9A1, so I wanted that model. The trigger is a little mushy, so it's going to sierrapapacx4.com this weekend for their full trigger upgrade parts install. It's a lot of fun. I have a bunch of lever action 357/38 rifles too, and they are also a lot of fun.
AMScott 3 Posted April 10, 2015 9mm rifles are a ton of fun.... I'm considering a J R carbine in 9mm......
fatty 241 Posted April 10, 2015 that's a hefty price tag to shoot 9mm! nevertheless... I want one... .357 lever action sounds like fun too
Old Glock guy 1,127 Posted April 10, 2015 Looks really nice, but that is indeed a hefty price tag. I read threads like this with great interest, as I've been giving serious thought to adding a 9mm carbine to my collection.
fatty 241 Posted April 10, 2015 Ammo is so cheap for 9mm. Its hard to resist...

The_Matrix 105 Posted April 10, 2015 Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. With that said, that rifle looks ugly. Sorry.
ronhonda 86 Posted April 10, 2015 Still undecided on a 9mm carbine. But for that price I would buy the JP carbine that takes glock mags.
RecessedFilter 222 Posted April 10, 2015 From other barrels I've seen on FAL's, Ak's (tabuk), etc, that looks to be a flash hider. I can' tell if it has a threaded barrel or what. It looks like it could thread right in front of the front sight block but I am unsure.
ChrisJM981 924 Posted April 10, 2015 It looks like a Saiga with a magwell adapter welded in.
ChrisJM981 924 Posted April 11, 2015 http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.aspx?PROD=285845&CAT=288 Lone Wolf Distributors makes a dedicated 9mm AR lower receiver that takes Glock mags. It states gunsmithing is necessary if you do not use their upper receiver. Another option that is definitely less costly.
