Worst restaurant experience ever...

Recommended Posts

I'm currently sitting at a table, and the guy behind me is talking about how the second amendment was written because we had to defend ourselves against Indians, and that it's no longer relevant. Then he started talking about confiscation and how easy it would be. All while using nonsense "facts." His stupidity is killing my appetite. Lol. Someone come here and talk guns with me, loudly.

Red Robin, Secaucus.

I would have interjected into his conversation... Yeah I'm "That Guy"... Now you all understand why I don't like driving east of Morris County?

I would have started off by saying "yeah we don't have the native American problem anymore. Just gang bangers to worry about now, that kill you in the parking lot for your range rover while your trying to protect your wife".

Ummmm, if any of you would have interjected, (which I most assuredly would have), it has/had nothing to do with effing indians. And please, tell us. How would they be confiscated you effing arsehole!

There really oughtta be a Civics Test to graduate HS and vote!

Next time invite me to dine with you.  I'll show-up wearing all my 2A garb:  Rifle and Pistol Club T-Shirt, Jacket, Hat, etc., and we can chat LOUDLY about defenseless victims like Carol Bowne bleedin'-out in her own driveway, the Short Hills Mall car-jacking murder, the woman from Madison who was beaten to a pulp in front of her own kids during a home invasion.  All the gory-ass details.  Give him the truth until he either moves, leaves, pukes or runs screamin' out of the joint, lol!

And then he would be demonstrating why we need CCW.

But... you could just play this as loud as you have to....

I would have gone out to my truck and came back in with the Bose Soundlink mini bluetooth speaker. And pointed it at his table B)

that would have frustrated the crap out of me. Can always call over the manager and ask to be moved because the guy behind you is so anti-american that his rhetoric is ruining your appetite.

Not me I would move right to his table to engage. "Waiter, please bring over another chair." I'm not shy in public at all, with total strangers.

    • I very seriously doubt this has anything to do with terrorism.    1) Harbor pilots are VERY seriously vetted, and highly trained. Not to mention extremely well paid. My experience knowing a few of them, and knowing how they are recruited and screened tells me that there is a slim to highly unlikely chance that a harbor pilot would have participated in anything like that.    2) Maintenance of foreign flag ships is well known to be dubious. Especially these days. These were NOT US flag, Jones act sailors. It was (to my understanding) a largely Indian crew on that ship, with a Ukrainian Captain. Indian crews are not exactly known for being stellar.    3) The bunkers (fuel) these ships use is ‘Bunker C’, which is a heavy, dirty fuel oil that can, and usually is, pretty contaminated. This stuff ain’t your car grade gasoline or diesel fuel. It’s nasty.   It requires nearly constant filter changes and maintenance to the engine/generators. The ship took on fuel prior to departing port, which would stir up all kinds of shit in the fuel tanks, which would contribute to particulates in the fuel lines/filters.    4) I’d say the posting of the chief engineer for Maserek above was pretty spot on as far as chain of events.    This was a shitty accident, with horrible timing and outcome. Not a terror attack.
    • I saw Lara's interview on Bannon's War Room, and that gave me pause for thought. Her conjecture depends primarily on the veracity of her sources. Regardless, if it's not applicable in any way to this ship disaster, the methods described seem valid to me. And worthy of consideration for the future. As I said before, IMO something is coming.
