the_stranger 13 Posted August 17, 2015 .22lr, 9mm, .38, .357mag, ,44mag, .45LC, .40s&w, .45acp, 30-06, .308, 45-70, 12Gauge. First six are rifle and pistol. Would like to add back 7.62x54r (Win 1895 (in my dreams)). And maybe add .30-30 to go with with all the other lever actions.

MartyZ 691 Posted August 17, 2015 9mm .40 .45 ACP .357/.38 Special .22 lr .223/5.56 .308 12 guage I have noticed advantages and disadvantages to both having one caliber vs having multiple calibers. The advantages to having fewer calibers are that most of your ammo on hand will work with most of your firearms, also, if you reload, it becomes a pain to reload multiple calibers. On the other side, when we had the ammo shortage and the most popular calibers were impossible to find I never had a problem finding .40 ammo. So the more calibers you have the easier it is to find ammo for a least some of your guns.
