louu 399 Posted November 12, 2015 Sweet, how many stages do they usually have?
Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted November 12, 2015 Easton won't be starting three-gun until March of 2016. They'll be the third Saturday of the month. They were talking about 6 stages. Adios, Pizza Bob
Golf battery 1,222 Posted November 12, 2015 Yes Bob Next year. You are correct Cant make it to the qualifier this weekend at somerset But i gotta see if i can do it at easton the next weekend. Ive never shot idpa there before but it would be good to shoot there before the three gun thing takes into effect to get a feel for it. Icant wait This is what i think is what alot of people are waiting for. Or atleast me. If not. Back to idpa. Its all good. But im im glad atleast theyre trying it. So i guess i have to hide 30 rd mags in the woods in pa to use in the matches in pa.
Golf battery 1,222 Posted November 12, 2015 Never shot there before So it seems its 179 degree shooting just like oldbridge?
louu 399 Posted November 12, 2015 That's awesome thanks guys.
Mr.Stu 1,882 Posted November 12, 2015 Never shot there before So it seems its 179 degree shooting just like oldbridge?Yep. They have U shaped pits and they use them. So much better than an indoor range with only 1 safe direction.
DirtyDigz 1,793 Posted November 12, 2015 Ooh-Wee, I want to try 3-gun. Do you have to be an Easton member to participate, or can you register on a per-event basis?
Golf battery 1,222 Posted November 12, 2015 As at mostly all matches you dont have to be a member.
Vlad G 345 Posted November 13, 2015 Any idea who's 3gun rules they would be using?
Golf battery 1,222 Posted November 13, 2015 Does anyone know if there are any regulations on pump shotguns in PA. As in maximum amount of shells in your extension tube. Or is that only for hunting like in nj
Mr.Stu 1,882 Posted November 23, 2015 You have to be able to lift it unassisted.
Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted November 23, 2015 You have to be able to lift it unassisted. You mean caissons aren't allowed???
Mr.Stu 1,882 Posted November 23, 2015 You mean caissons aren't allowed???For transporting, sure, but not for shooting from.
Howard 538 Posted November 23, 2015 Never shot there before So it seems its 179 degree shooting just like oldbridge? Sorry you could not make it. It was a great match and we used muzzle safe points, not the 180; so some shots were well over 200 degrees (20 degrees or more beyond the 180).

Pizza Bob 1,488 Posted January 10, 2016 Do they have a website Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Yes, but there is no info on it about 3-gun yet. I believe that it is going to be the third Saturday of the month - but not 100% sure. https://www.efga.net/
Golf battery 1,222 Posted January 10, 2016 My ammo is gonna cost more than my mortgage each month. Yikes.

Golf battery 1,222 Posted January 15, 2016 I bought a benelli nova 300$ ? At tanners. spent 50$ for a 3 round extension. Ive not had a failure and hit the steel at 100 yards at oldbridge 3 gun shoots with no misses.

T Bill 649 Posted January 16, 2016 Good choice for a reasonably priced 3 gun scattergun.
Heavyopp 167 Posted January 16, 2016 http://www.cabelas.com/product/STOEGER-MODEL-GUN-SHOTGUN/1993377.uts Lou -- Did you buy this gun?
louu 399 Posted January 16, 2016 Yeah buddy and it's awesome, I got it about the middle of last year. I been shooting it so much I lost track of how many rounds are through it. Thing runs 100% perfect and can quad load right out of the box, no need to hack it up.
Heavyopp 167 Posted January 21, 2016 maybe if I ever go to the range again I could give it a try twist my arm into buying one...
Vlad G 345 Posted January 21, 2016 maybe if I ever go to the range again I could give it a try twist my arm into buying one... He is not the one only one shooting a Stoeger, I've shot one (although not the one he linked the basic model that was worked over by a custom house) all of last year, I'm guessing 10-15 cases of ammo, not a single failure. It is a poor man's benelli m2 I'm a big fan of it.
Pew Pew Plates 358 Posted January 22, 2016 I'm seriously looking into buying that stoeger, it's the missing link (and a belt setup) for me. We should orchestrate a team and maybe find a dealer that can do a group buy of those stoegers
louu 399 Posted January 22, 2016 I know Cabelas in DE is kinda far for you but the price out the door was $629.99. That's exactly what I paid, no NICS, no tax no hidden fees.
Vlad G 345 Posted January 22, 2016 You should know that the Stoeger's are good but not perfect. You may have to clean up the extractor channels and some of us have replaced the extractor with a benelli one (which is a drop in) for like $15. Some people need to do that some don't, mine worked great all along as it was hand pampered before I got it, but I replaced the extractor cause why not. Johnk-NJ 4 Posted January 24, 2016 What capacity mags do you need? 15 round mags wont cut it? Do people shoot with rifles with scopes and pump shotguns?
