Last year's unusually hot and dry summer nuked A LOT of people's lawns. I'm sure a lot of people are experiencing the same. Like Scorpio said, if you put down pre-emergent just wait 60 days and then patch those spots. If you never threw down any pre-emergment then patch away now and after it's fully established treat for weeds later.
Krdshrk 3,877 Posted April 18, 2023 No crabgrass treatment down - I'm just gonna seed. Looks like it'll warm up this weekend then rain so I'll get a chance to throw seed down Saturday.
bry@n 195 Posted April 18, 2023 Pre-emergent sprays don’t usually affect seed. Tenacity didn’t in my case.

Bklynracer 1,263 Posted March 10 Haven’t bought in a while, Just bought a bag of seed, dun & shade at Costco, 25 lb bag $55.00 is this also everything is affordable Biden economics? Or am I just behind the times?
voyager9 3,434 Posted March 10 Reminds me I have to get some seed. Problem is the bare spots are in the shade and between flooding, kids, and dogs there is almost no soil left, just sand
