The brew guy 22 Posted December 18, 2015 I see there's a new shop on Rt 22 in Green Brook. I've heard a rumor about who's behind it, but I have not had an opportunity to confirm that rumor. Has anybody had a chance to check it out yet?

ogfarmer 138 Posted December 18, 2015 are they no longer partners? I believe they split off Someone who knows them told me they both had different visions.
Purple Patrick 638 Posted December 18, 2015 Art sold his shares to the other guys at garden state. I just saw him the other day in my shop. His plans for the new store sound really great, I've got to check it out after the holidays Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk
The brew guy 22 Posted December 18, 2015 I'd heard it was Art, but didn't want to post without knowing for sure or any other details. This is the last thing I need, 2 local gun shops that are worthy of all my disposable income.

Heavyopp 167 Posted December 27, 2015 I just saw it last night -- right across from D&R Boats -- minutes from home Honestly I never bought anything from Garden State -- went in a few times 1st time I set foot in the place I was told I couldn't touch anything without my firearms ID -- "Really" I said "I guess it's store policy" Guys in the store said "No, its the law" My reply was simple "what is the statute #, I'd love to look it up" -- Not a sound... I will get in middlebroook this coming week, Just to stop by and see what is going on and check out pricing -- I just put in for 3 P2P's last week garden state was always high on their reloading supplies -- yea they had it but man you had to be desperate to pay those prices I'm never that desperate
MK25 V 3 Posted January 14, 2016 Does Middlebrook have any reloading supplies?
Candyman87 10 Posted January 14, 2016 That would explain the sudden emails from them... must've taken my email address when he left GSA. I don't mind, a few emails here and there... I just couldn't figure out WHY I'm getting them! Next time I'm back in Jersey I might swing by and check 'em out.
xXxplosive 823 Posted January 15, 2016 I've been going to Lou's in Raritan for some time now.........nice folks there.

srsm 0 Posted January 18, 2016 Nice folks @ Middlebrook, and they have a very good on-site simulator for training new handgun owners.
Purple Patrick 638 Posted March 10, 2016 So I stopped there today finally. I knew Art from garden state before hand and I have to say wow the new shop is way better. The prices are all very good. Glocks were in the $530-600 range which seems to be the going rate. Other things I noticed where a two tone sig 2022 that was $540 I believe. All in all everything looked to be fair. They had a decent amount of accessories and can basically order anything for you at a good price. The whole reason I went was to see if they could get me a GWAC CAV 15 MKII which no one stocks. They couldn't ordet kme from their wholesaler but called the company directly while I was there and are now going to be a distributor for them if anyone else is looking for one. RobCo 16 Posted April 26, 2016 I stopped by Middlebrook in Greenbrook this past weekend. They seem to be a good bunch of guys in there. Will go back again
GAPP 11 Posted April 26, 2016 The shop is nice with some pretty goos staff. They have limited inventory but they are really just getting going. Give them time and they will be a great shop.

Ricky_Bobby 130 Posted April 27, 2016 I hope better than the Guild in Branchburg...........yech. ^Both Guild in Branchburg and Middlebrook are prob same distance from me - This is the second or 3rd time I've heard bad things about HG - I need a couple boxes of .45 just to check local prices so I've been meaning to stop in to GSA, but Middlebrook I hear is one of the old partners there? If I'm taking a ride for some errands on Saturday I'll probably stop by and check out their inventory and shop

sage613 8 Posted April 28, 2016 I really like Middlebrook. Nice guys, good prices-not a lot of stock, but they can order for you I want to like HG in Branchburg, but every time I go there I get the sense that they do everything they can to pretend I'm not there. Even when I'm the only customer.
