You Think You Got It Bad In NJ?

Recommended Posts

They arrest you in New York for selling loose cigarettes. (less than a full pack).

But now it's okay to open a box of 50 9mm,s and sell only 16 rounds! That is so stupid I can hardly believe it!

This will not pass! The black market for ammo would make an awful lot of people rich if it did.

Bingo...loosie bullets now legal?

You're giving them way to much credit, they're idiots that know nothing about guns, gun ownership, target shooting or hunting - all of which would be impacted by this. This restriction on ammo purchases is so severe it's not going to pass and even if it did how would they enforce it? The SAFE act required a background check and IMMEDIATE reporting of all ammo sales to the NYSP. NY has already given up on those provisions of the SAFE act because they don't have the money to implement those provisions of the law.

That does not mean they won't try.

There is a serious disconnect between the govern, and the governed

Agreed. The voters are fed up with the "ruling class."

then they should vote! The alternative is nothing we want, and many don't have the balls for. This is why trump is doing well in polls, he's not a pussy. But no one here wants to stand alone.'it's lonely alone

I think if Trump is the nominee, turnout will be "YUGE" :)

They dont care. They don't need to care. Because as long as they keep giving free stuff to people that don't want to work and don't want any personal responsibility, they will have the votes to stay in office and continue to abuse others rights.

Until they run out of spending other people's money.  It's going to be here sooner than you think.

I hope it passes. The statehouse will burn to the ground, and assembly members will sway softly in the breeze, hanging by their necks.

No it wont, NY residents will take it and not do a damn thing, just like pussies in Jersey do.  Both states are run by Liberal scumbags.

    • I very seriously doubt this has anything to do with terrorism.    1) Harbor pilots are VERY seriously vetted, and highly trained. Not to mention extremely well paid. My experience knowing a few of them, and knowing how they are recruited and screened tells me that there is a slim to highly unlikely chance that a harbor pilot would have participated in anything like that.    2) Maintenance of foreign flag ships is well known to be dubious. Especially these days. These were NOT US flag, Jones act sailors. It was (to my understanding) a largely Indian crew on that ship, with a Ukrainian Captain. Indian crews are not exactly known for being stellar.    3) The bunkers (fuel) these ships use is ‘Bunker C’, which is a heavy, dirty fuel oil that can, and usually is, pretty contaminated. This stuff ain’t your car grade gasoline or diesel fuel. It’s nasty.   It requires nearly constant filter changes and maintenance to the engine/generators. The ship took on fuel prior to departing port, which would stir up all kinds of shit in the fuel tanks, which would contribute to particulates in the fuel lines/filters.    4) I’d say the posting of the chief engineer for Maserek above was pretty spot on as far as chain of events.    This was a shitty accident, with horrible timing and outcome. Not a terror attack.
    • I saw Lara's interview on Bannon's War Room, and that gave me pause for thought. Her conjecture depends primarily on the veracity of her sources. Regardless, if it's not applicable in any way to this ship disaster, the methods described seem valid to me. And worthy of consideration for the future. As I said before, IMO something is coming.
