Hello from Aberdeen

I am new to the forum and I am currently waiting for my FID card and pistol permit to be approved. I have been hunting all my life and have been shooting shotguns and rifles but never a hand gun. Look to purchase a Glock or Beretta PX4 storm once approved. I would also like to join a gun range. CJRPC looks like a nice place but I would like to shoot there and take a tour once I get my handgun before joining. Happy New year to everyone on the forum.

Welcome.  Px4 Storm is definitely a great first pistol.  That's what I bought as my first.

Aberdeen here also. It took me 62 days to get my FID from Aberdeen PD about 2 years ago . Good Luck

Aberdeen Here too.  I've never waited more then 29 days for a Permit.  No complaints about the wait from me.  I'm also a member of CJRPC and I will say that the upfront cost is high it is worth it.
